This contest is not one of those fun contests I put on every week. This is try to get my blog ranked higher and as well as an experiment that if this proves to be a success I will try on my other blogs with bigger cash payouts.

The actress I chose for the $8 Contest was sexy Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert. She was on the series popular mechanic kids so I’ve known her since she was a child. She currently dates Sean Avery of the New York Rangers and appeared in the critically panned Captivity and was in a soon to be released “He Was A Quiet Man” which looks very good and deserves a post on it’s own.

This is the first contest I’ve done considering a prize and I plan to try different types with the money earned from sponsored posts.

This contest was a big failure with only one person participating that being Frank.

The actor that was characterized as a rugby fan was indeed Russell Crowe. I believe I should have made it harder because the first person was able to get it as many people inferred which country Rugby originated from.

Crowe is in a lot of good movies and starts in 3:10 to Yuma which comes out this week.

The winner and the only participant in this contest was AzDana. AzDana doesn’t have an about page but she is from Arizona (her name is also Dana hehe) and her blog is called AZ Dana’s Wonderful & Wacky Weblog. Her blog seems like a general blog though it is totally random. Her blog has been up since later 2006.

Her theme is pretty simple though I really feel a lack of things to check out on the sidebar. It’s all links and I generally look past links. I would probably enjoy more pictures/videos within each posts. She blogs about a lot of different things and I really think visuals will help highlight some of the things she blogs about. I am not sure her blog interests me all that much (I am a 19-year old guy from Toronto) but she does write pretty well and she has made creating these contests extremely fun. Visit her blog!

Christopher Walken is 64 years of age and has been acting since 1953. He has starred in some popular movies such as Pulp Fiction, and Catch Me If You Can. He is a very popular actor and he was in Hairspray and Balls of Fury this year.

One of the hints I gave away was that he won a MTV VMA for his role in Fat Boy Slim’s Weapon of Choice in one of the cooler music videos ever.

The winner of this blog was Jorge who has played in the other Guess that Actor contests.
His blog is called My Adventures Into The Street. Jorge is a graduate student out of the University of Florida (actually in engineering) and his blog is kind of an experiment (or adventure) where he gets his feet wet with buying stocks and other types of investments. He has a natural interest in finance and investing and it shows in his blog. This blog is probably very interesting if you are business savvy but for me it is a bit difficult to read at times. He has updates on how he’s doing with his financial portfolio in addition to news in the business sector specifically news surrounding certain companies like Google’s CFO retirement.
It’s a nice looking blog, nice layout, great writing and would be a cool blog if business is your cup of tea.

Mcangeli’s site is called Delusions of Grandeur who attempts to document his life as he is a father of two and he lives in Georgia as he works in the IT (Information Technology) field. I first thought he was actually a female from the name mcangeli but thankfully I read his about page before writing this. His blog has everything on it. From good wordpress plugins to use to his personal life, his blog is like my home page where I used to post about everything and anything I could. He talks about his daughter being 4 years old and starting school already and how 4 years passes by so quickly in a post and his experience as caring father. Very cool stuff. His blog has a very nice design to it and a very cool plugin where you can rate each of his articles out of 5. Check it out.
