Justice League of America to be released in 2009?
The Justice League is cool. I’ve personally followed with the Superman Series “Smallville” from it’s inception. Batman is cool especially after Christopher Nolan’s releases of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
Apparently they had Jessica Biel as wonder man which would’ve been a great choice. However, apparently they didn’t want to offer Biel a Wonder Woman movie spin off due to movies with “female leads” doing bad. Last I checked it made no difference whether a male or female lead and they brought up examples like The Invasion and The Brave One. Those ones were box office duds cause of bad reviews, this is Wonder Woman you’re talking about!
So the real question now that they have a script ready, who’s going to play who?

The Illusionist I decided to finally see after seeing another magician movie in the Prestige. This movie stars Ed Norton as the magician Eisenheim where Jessica Biel stars as Dutchess von Tesh (or Sophie). Paul Giamatta plays inspector Uhl.
The story involves a magician securing the love of a queen to be though he is of lower social class.
The movie is cool at some parts with the types of magic tricks displayed. The acting is great with Paul Giamatta probably giving the best performance as Inspector Uhl. Jessica Biel is very sexy in this movie and Norton is always up to his usual greatness. This movie I must say doesn’t live up to the Prestige despite being very good. There was just much more substance involved when it comes to the latter magician movie I saw.
This movie does get a 4 out of 5 for great acting and being decent in all other areas.
