Bloodless Hitman Movie?!

October 11th, 2007 | Category: News

Talk about the movie industry getting it wrong when making a video game adaptation. The Hitman games while fun is due to the fact that they are refusing to make a Halo game. Talk about illogical.

Anyway apparently the Hitman movie is going through trouble with directors as they had to drop a director due to the movie getting a sure fire R rating for gore. They apparently want to make the movie more “PG” despite the video game being a guy who murders for hire isn’t that worse then a little blood? The video game itself has a lot of blood and I think people are going to feel as if the stuff isn’t that great.

This seems like a terrible idea for FOX. I just don’t understand their logic.

The Adventures of Tintin To Be A Huge Movie Trilogy?

October 10th, 2007 | Category: Peter Jackson, News, Steven Spielberg

The Adventures of Tintin were arguably my favorite comic and television cartoon while growing up. I never fully got to see every set but loved the show when I could see it.

On /flim where they catch up with Steven Spielberg on Indiana Jones 4. One of the topics brought up will be how Spielberg who’s a big Adventures of Tintin fan is getting ready to film a movie and Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) is planning to direct another movie. They are trying to find a 3rd director to complete the trilogy.

This sounds freaking awesome! Especially with the directors who plan to do it. I am excited!

Justice League of America to be released in 2009?

October 09th, 2007 | Category: News, Jessica Biel

The Justice League is cool. I’ve personally followed with the Superman Series “Smallville” from it’s inception. Batman is cool especially after Christopher Nolan’s releases of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Apparently they had Jessica Biel as wonder man which would’ve been a great choice. However, apparently they didn’t want to offer Biel a Wonder Woman movie spin off due to movies with “female leads” doing bad. Last I checked it made no difference whether a male or female lead and they brought up examples like The Invasion and The Brave One. Those ones were box office duds cause of bad reviews, this is Wonder Woman you’re talking about!

So the real question now that they have a script ready, who’s going to play who?

Transformers 2 To Be Released in Summer of 2009?

October 08th, 2007 | Category: News, Michael Bay

Transformers Picture
The directors Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay have apparently signed on to begin filming Transformers 2.

I know I am not a fan of sequels but I will be definitely watching the second film. Sequels are usually crappy but if you found the first one decent why wouldn’t you continue watching other released movies that carry on the story line but are sure to be action packed?

I have nothing really for this movie site in the upcoming weeks other then news so bear with me.

Halo SHOULD Be Made Into A Movie

October 07th, 2007 | Category: News

Here is a TERRIBLE article on Newsweek on why Hollywood and production companies should stay away from Halo. When reading this article it was a JOKE how one sided of an article it is.

Basically it compares the revenue stream from the successful launch of Halo 3 to box office sales of Spiderman 3. Sugguesting that Halo 3 will not have that many fans because most of the revenue comes from their high price. What a pile of trash.

There are more Halo fans then what the revenue would suggest. First off a lot of people don’t buy Halo and usually get a crack or illegal copy of some sort. Halo 3 is just that good of a game that people are willing to take out money of their wallet. Secondly more people would be willing to see a movie for $10 with a lot of action and good reviews. A good comparison of video game to movie success will have to be the Resident Evil trilogies. Granted these movies got terrible reviews and Resident Evil isn’t on par with the amount of fans it has. Even if you didn’t play Halo doesn’t mean you wouldn’t see the movie especially if it has a lot of action in it.

Resident Evil grossed about $40 million and Halo3 probably has 10 times the fan base of Resident Evil. You know where I am getting at if you multiply $40 million by 10 you would get $400 million. Add in good graphics and probably decent reviews from critics you’ll have a big hit. I can see it doing as well as Transformers.

To say that just cause you have 5 million fans buying the video game that is not your entire market and it’s a poorly done article. The real market? Males aged 8 to 40 and if production companies don’t realize that they are retarded just like that bullshit article which fails to looks at both sides.

Megan Fox to portray Cassie in Hack/Slash?

October 02nd, 2007 | Category: Megan Fox, News

I know nothing about Hack/Slash the comic, however looking at the pictures whoever is playing Cassie will be playing a very very sexy woman.

Megan Fox who is riding on guys drooling over her in the Transformer’s movie will have even more fans if she takes this role. For a guy I am definitely excited and would be willing to see this movie.

Some of Megan Fox’s photos and clips from the Transformers were favorite because she is so stunningly hot. Add me to one of those guys!

Can you blame me:

Note the terrible tattoo “Brian” for Brian Dallas Green of 90210 fame. Yuck.

Jaden Smith to be the next Karate Kid?

September 30th, 2007 | Category: Jaden Smith, News

Hollywood is thinking about casting Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith in a remake of the Karate Kid. I doubt people will like the remake regardless who stars in it. This is a bad idea to remake a movie that is one a classic and two just made in the 80s.

Also Smith is still quite small and 9 years old to boot… and probably not believable as a Karate kid?

I have yet to see Smith’s acting ability in the Pursuit of Happyness but it did get rave reviews so we will see when I watch the movie.

Most people are crying foul about this idea of Jaden as the Karate Kid, do you blame them?

Anywhere here is the final(and famous) scene of the Karate Kid:

Brad Pitt Replaces Matt Damon In The Fighter

September 22nd, 2007 | Category: News, Upcoming movies, Mark Wahlberg, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon

I didn’t know about “The Fighter” until news came that Matt Damon had to drop out of the movie and his replacement was Brad Pitt (a pretty nice replacement eh?).

Pitt’s role is to play “Irish” Mickey Ward’s older brother. I like sport movies especially where Mickey Ward is going to be played by Mark Wahlberg it gives that extra star power that will make you compelled.

Mickey Ward I remember vividly, if you are a boxing fan or not you probably have heard about the Ward-Gatti fights where were deemed as fight of the centuries. These boxers were classy but kept throwing a million punches recklessly without thinking about giving up. Ward has the respect of a lot of fans and this movie should be good.
