I am going to honest. I opened this blog to make money and I am now burnt out.

I haven’t done a paid post inawhile because it’s simple. It’s more FUN to do normal non-paid posts. In this case, 3 blogs is hard to maintain with school and all. I don’t really believe this blog gets read and while some people do come for the contests…I really just lost my passion about “writing” about movie related news.

Sure it’s not a bad thing to blog about movies but I am out of movie reviews to do as I haven’t seen a movie in a loooong time. I just don’t have any NEW internet content to talk about movies. Regurgitation is just not fun at all. I like creating my own content but when it comes to movies not regularly.

I may pop in to do a paid post (to support the other blogs) but otherwise I almost want to pronounce this blog dead.

Jason Wigley has a few blogs on which is Fanatic Space. He tends to write a whole lot that when he has a read more link attached to the front of his page, you are in for a lot. His blog is related to television and he covers many TV shows. One of the TV shows that he covers that I also really dig is Heroes. He recaps the shows and starts speculating on what is going to happen next.

On face value his blog doesn’t seem it’s that good as it really is. I am not really a fan of his “read more” long posts. It’s great content and the posts may be long but it just doesn’t do justice to the juicy part of post. Some things I would suggest would be to take out the related posts widget. I find it more annoying then helpful and I would rather see that space replaced with content. I would also take the get paid to review my post widget. It’s just a lot of unnecessary things that take away from the real substance of his blog.

He has great content and I would like to see him take full advantage of it. Really interesting to read especially if you are a television junkie. Check it out.

Jerry entered my failed link exchange contest so as a consolation prize I am doing a quick review of his website 33 is the New 23. His website is pretty general I would say but he does talk a bit about sports such as the current games being played in the MLB playoffs. I definitely can appreciate sports myself as I have my own blog dedicated towards it.

His blog is decent though probably not with high level of traffic and seems like a small-time blogger just like me. So I’m just going to suggest keep working on it! Maybe we could collaborate on some sports as a blog inter-promotion.

I had 5 people enter the $15 link exchange contest. Which is 1/3 of the original goal I had. I am looking to link exchange with a person per dollar put into this.

These are the rules:
1. 1. 1 Prize of $20 to be randomly selected by a number on Excel (like a lottery) will be given out to one person via PayPal.
2. I will not hold the draw until 20 different people have entered ($1 for one person is fair right?)

5. If you do more then one task, then the entries multiply (e.g. adding my site to two of yours on the sidebar is 2X2=4 or a post and a link exchange would be 5×2=10), also if you add me to your blogroll page and sidebar it’s adding 1.
6. Blog posts have no requirement other then a link to this contest or my blog. Either is fine.
7. Contest will probably end of the Thursday AFTER the minimum amount of people have entered.

It is weird trying to use something like WordPress when I find using Blogger much much easier to use. This site as the title of this blog says is going to be with movie reviews, contests, maybe stuff about actors/celebrities that I find is newsworthy.

This is different from my blog Allan’s World as there I used to talk about sports, music and movies. I have basically casted off the movies to it’s own island!

Currently this is on a free wordpress blog temporarily and I am starting up a wordpress.org on one of my domains. I just have this up because I needed to start it ASAP. The older blog posts were imported directly from Allan’s World.
